Collection System Improvements Project

Overview

This project includes miscellaneous modifications and improvements to the existing collection system to incorporate the new Arbennie Pritchett WRF and Re-Pumping Station and to optimize the performance of the system to improve performance and efficiency. At a minimum, the project will include the following components:

  • Design of modifications necessary to convert the 2-existing 20-inch diameter pipelines that convey treated effluent from the existing Garniers WWTP to the Garniers Effluent Sprayfield to raw wastewater force mains that will convey the raw wastewater from the new Garniers Re-Pumping Station to the new Arbennie Pritchett WRF.
  • Design of modifications to the existing Garniers Sprayfield piping to allow the new Arbennie Pritchett WRF to convey treated effluent to the existing holdings ponds at the sprayfield site.
  • Design of new influent wastewater piping for the new Arbennie Pritchett WRF
  • Design of modifications to the raw wastewater forcemain from the Clifford Street Pump Station to convey wastewater to the two 20-inch forcemains

Additional modifications and improvements will be identified as the project develops.
