Garniers Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) Decommissioning Project

Overview

The Garniers WWTP Decommissioning Project includes demolishing the existing Garniers WWTP and converting the existing site to a community beneficial use. The Garniers WWTP can not be taken off-line, however, until after the construction of the new Arbennie Pritchett WRF has been completed and the new WRF has met the operational performance testing requirements of the contract.

The project work tasks that will be included in this project are equipment removal and salvage, demolition of the existing structures and piping, general site restoration and fill. This project has not been assigned to a consultant and will not begin for several months.
