New Rapid Infiltration Basin (RIB) Disposal System Project
Project Team Members Roles/Responsibilities
Okaloosa Water and Sewer Construction (OCWS) Crews have taken on the responsibility of constructing the new Rabid Infiltration Basins for this project. This includes procurement and staging of equipment and materials, scheduling and performing the construction.
The Constantine Group (TCG) was contracted to serve as the ProgramManagement Consultant forthis Project. TCG is responsible for coordinating all activities associated with the construction of the Arbennie Pritchett WRF, construction of the RIB system, decommissioning of the existing Garniers WWTP, collection system modifications, regulatory permitting, and management of any outside
consultants.
Polyengineering of Florida, Inc. (Poly) was contracted to serve as the consultant to develop the design drawings and specifications for the new RIB disposal system. Poly also is providing inspection services during construction for the new RIBs.
Gallet & Associates, Inc. (Gallet) was contracted to serve as the Geotechnical Consultant for the new Arbennie Pritchett RIB Project. Gallet was responsible for the geotechnical exploration of the site, for advising the other team members as to design constraints regarding the project site, and for geotechnical engineering regarding the RIBs. Gallet will coordinate with TCG, CDM, the County, and other consultants during the construction of the new WRF.
Brown Burdine & Associates, LLC (BBA) was contracted to develop a groundwater model of the proposed project site and to perform a groundwater mounding analysis. BBA also served as a consultant during the development of the permit and has assisted during the construction of the RIBs.
